| Day 01: | Arrive Jammu, drive to Pahalgam (283 kms) |
| Arrive Jammu (own arrangements). Assemble at parking outside the railway station at 0930 hours. Depart for Pahalgam at 1000 Hrs. Enroute lunch in a local restaurant/dhaba. On arrival in Pahalgam check into your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy the beauty of this picturesque resort. Overnight: In hotel (B, L, D). | |
| Day 02: | Pahalgam |
| The day is at leisure to wander around the bustling markets, enjoy walks along the Lidder or experience the thrill of a pony through the meadow and pine forests (on own). Overnight: In hotel (B, L, D). | |
| Day 03: | Pahalgam - Srinagar (97 kms) |
| After breakfast in the morning, drive to Srinagar. Enroute enjoy a brief visit to Awantipura ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Arrive Srinagar and check-in to the hotel. Rest of the evening is free or walk leisurely on the boulevard as you watch the romantic shikaras gliding on the picturesque Dal lake. Overnight: Deluxe houseboat (B, L, D). | |
| Day 04: | Srinagar |
| After breakfast proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankaracharya temple and the famous Mughal Gardens – Nishat and Shalimar. In the evening lie back and enjoy a romantic ‘shikara ride’ on the Dal Lake. Overnight: Deluxe houseboat (B, L, D). | |
| Day 05: | Srinagar - Day trip to Sonamarg (90 kms) |
| Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque ‘meadow of gold’, Sonamarg. The fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (on own). Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight: Deluxe houseboat (B, L, D). | |
| Day 06: | Srinagar - Day trip to Gulmarg (60 kms) |
| This morning after breakfast proceed for an excursion to Gulmarg. Stroll leisurely across the green meadow to one of the world’s highest green golf course. A must is a fun-filled ride in the newly introduced gondola lift through pine-clad slopes (on own). Back to Srinagar. Overnight: Deluxe houseboat (B, L, D). | |
| Day 07: | Srinagar – Katra (268 kms) |
| Early morning drive to Katra and check into your hotel. Lunch enroute in a local restaurant. Trek up the Vaishnodevi Temple in the evening. Return back to hotel after Darshan (on own). Overnight: In hotel (B, L, D). | |
| Day 08: | Katra – Jammu (52 kms) |
| Breakfast and lunch in the hotel as you relax in the morning. Proceed to and get transferred to Jammu airport/ railway station in time for your onward journey. | |
