      Gulmarg: As Beautiful As Its Name!
      Gulmarg over the years has become the prime destination for promoting tourism in Jammu and Kashmir. It is a panoramic hill station situated at an altitude of 2690 m above sea level amidst the pine cover in the basin of Pir Pranjal basin . The name 'Gulmarg' means 'meadow of flowers' and without a doubt the town is an out of the world beauty, but if you visit Gulmarg in the peak tourist season, the probability is that you will not see even a single flower, the entire area will be covered with thick layers of snow. As a matter of fact, this probably is the reason, so many tourist come here. And with a world class skiing facilities the city is also becoming famous among the foreign tourists....More details..!!

      Pahalgam: Jammu and Kashmir
      Pahalgam located 95 km from Srinagar, Kashmir Region, J&KPahalgam is an ideal place for an adventure sports enthusiast. It offers wonderful treks, skiing, mountaineering and camping sites. Facilities for roller-skating, table tennis, badminton and cards are available at the Pahalgam Club. One can take a temporary membership at the Pahalgam natural golf course.In route to Pahalgam one comes across the beautiful Lidder Valley with tourist spots at Mattan, famed for its springs and the hillside cave shrine of Aishmuqam. The river Lidder is an angler's delight and even an amateur can catch a rainbow trout from the rushing streams. The large brown bear is a natural inhabitant of the thick forests.       Sonmarg - A Golden Touch To Life..!
      When you drive from Srinagar to Leh, Sonmarg is the last stop of Kashmir District. From here starts the territory of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level, Sonmarg is absolutely true to its name, which means 'Meadow of Gold'. The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow-covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has few of the most loveliest flower collection in J & K. In winters though, the town is covered with snow giving it an altogether different charm of white. The town has become famous for the many excursion option that it offers, mainly short walks and trek routes to nearby stunning areas. The most famous trek is definitely the one that takes you to Amarnath caves. In fact Baltal which is just besides Sonmarg, is used as a base camp for starting the holy Amarnath yatra...More details..!!

      Jammu: City Information
      Jammu - the Duggar land where the past still has a living presence. A land of grand ancient temples, and beautiful palaces. Nestled against the backdrop of the snow-capped Pir Panjal Mountains, the region of Jammu constitutes thesouthernmost unit of the state of Jammu & Kashmir. It forms part of the transition between the Himalayan range in the north and the dusty plains of Punjab in the south. Between these two extremities lie a series of scrub-covered hills, forested mountain ranges and river valleys, encompassing several microclimatic regions that extend from Kishtawar in the north-east to Akhnoor in the south-west, and the historic town of Poonch in the north-west to the borders of Kangra (H P) in the south-east. The Shivalik hills cut across the area from the east to the west while the rivers Ravi, Tawi and Chenab cut their way through the region....More details..!!

      Kargil: City Information
      Kargil (2740m), 204 km from Srinagar, is the second largest town of Ladakh. It is also the headquarters of our destination, the district of Kargil. A quiet town today Kargil was once witness to the most hectic bartering among traders of different faiths and nationalities. Hundreds of caravans carrying silks, ivory, carpets and precious stones to and from China, Turkey, Yarkand, Afghanistan and India, passed through the town. Several caravanserais, now rendered dangerous due to years of disuse, can be seen in and around Kargil. Substitute travellers for traders and Kargil's position as a resting place remains unaltered. Tourists to Leh by road make a night halt at Kargil before starting on the second leg of the journey....More details..!!

      Patnitop: City Information
      Located at a suitable height and surrounded by trees Patinitop is a peaceful and quiet place in the Jammu region. Its at a distance of four hours from Katra. We can also visit Sanasar which resembles Patnitop. Sanasar is on a higher location. While going towards Sanasar, Mathatop/Nathatop are the places to visit. Patnitop also offers some trekking routes. Patnitop is 112 kms away from Jammu. Its at a height of 2024 meters across the Jammu Srinagar highway. Patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots and nice walks in the mountains. In winters the resort is covered with thick snow. Its a major center for snow games like skiing. The major center of attraction in Patnitop is its natural charm, climate, pine forests and lush green cover. That is why its one of the best resorts of Jammu region.

      Vaishno Devi: Holiest Pilgrimage Places of North India!
      Vaishno Devi is one of the holiest pilgrimage places of north India and is visited by innumerable tourists all the year round. Nestled in the Trikuta Hills at an altitude of 5300 feet, it is a fascinating place truly worthy of a visit. The holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is located in a cave having an approach route of thirteen kilometers. People from all walks of life come here to seek the blessings of the divine goddess and have their wishes fulfilled. The pilgrims reciting the holy refrains fill the atmosphere with religious fervor and encourage the pilgrims to proceed on the tough climb upwards....More details..!!
