Feedback as promised, albeit late, but better than never. We are in Canada now, minus five degrees and getting colder. Brrrr!

First,many thanks for all your kindness, patience and understanding in arranging a tour in Nepal and India for a couple of senile delinquents from Australia. I will have no hesitation in recommending you and Holiday Links to my friends and family.

Your programmes were excellent in both countries. The drivers were fantastic, particularly Lucky in the Amritsar,Chandigarh and Shimla area.

The hotels were wonderful with the exception of the Fair Mount in Shimla. There the room was freezing cold and we had to ask for heaters which were subsequently ineffective. No new towels were provided and the room was not cleaned each day. I suggest you find an alternative hotel in Shimla in the three star category.

Overall, you need to clarify the type of rooms that you want for your clients. We ended up with double beds on two occasions. We are great friends, but not that friendly!!!

I hope you are well and beginning to enjoy the busy warm weather you are beginning to have in Delhi while we are having the coldest weather this winter tonight its going be minus 15 degrees! so wish we could be back in India and enjoy the climate.We miss Kerela !

Firstly, we would like to thank you for organising such a great holiday trip in Kerela . We enjoyed Kerela very much and it was our finest trips abroad. We would love to do it all over again. Kerela is a destination I always recommend
to my friends and family as well your good organisation to make this trip a memerable holiday for us and especially for my wife whose birthday we came to celebrate.

The hotels were very good. The hospitality was excellent in the hotels.

Our driver, Naushad was very good. He had very good knowledge of Kerela and hence good company through our travel through Kerela.Please do pass our good wishes to Naushad and your collegue in Cochi who met us in Trivandrum at the start of our trip.Unfortunely we left our address/telephone diary in the taxi in Bangalore

and therfore we have lost all possible contact with Nausad and your collegue in Kerela. I would appreciate it if you could forward their email addresess to me to me as I would like to thank them personally.

We throughly enjoyed our trip in Allepy. The boat trip was excellent. I recommend it to anyone who wishes to trvel to Kerela.

The holiday in Kerela was excellent. The only negative point I have is the confusion about the costings and the add on of extra charges at the final payment. This was not full clear at the beginning when we ebooked the trip.this should be made clear at the beginning. How ever this did did not disappoint us and we enjoyed out holidays in India and we can't wait to visit India again.

We look forward to see you in the near future and use your service when we visit India again.

Overall there is no issue except for communication breakdown between the driver and us at Kolkata and Puri.

Please take note (for future improvement), for foreigner like us, it is important for driver to know some basic English and able to communicate to us. The both drivers did the best to explain to us but not to our understanding. Hotel rating from top to bottom: -

1) Puri - superb

2) Chennai - superb

3) Varnasi- superb and the driver was super good

4) Bhunesswar - okay only

5) Kolkata- - not up the mark

Train journey was good with 2 AC seating as requested.

Thank you for a memorable trip to India. I enjoyed it very much. My only regret is that I should have allocated more time in each city. I think three days in each city would be perfect.

I was vey pleased with the accomodation that you booked for me. No problems with cleanliness and water etc. like we heard about.

My favourite was Hotel C7 and least favourite was Emerald in Chennai. They were fumigating while we were there and it was not pleasant.

But otherwise it was perfect. Even though there were a couple of mishaps like Choki Dhani and Thekkady riverboat, your company still shines.

Every company will have problems, its how one solves the problems that shows a company's true greatness.

I will definitely recommend you personally as an agent as well as your company to others.

Yes i am also definitely looking forward to sharing a cup of coffee or even a home cooked meal with you :)

The weather was nice and food was good all the way. I had a stomach flu , I think , caused from a oily Rajastan thaali from the last lunch of the trip.

after we left Jaipur , we had few days in Mumbai and a week in Kerala and we are back in Singapore now in pink of health. I will sure recommend my friends to your Company for golden Triangle trips .

I have to tell you, my kids enjoy so much, so in future we will give you call for our trip.I also like to know do you serve only in India or other country too?

One thing I would not say Grand season hotel in Kochi is 4/5 stars may be 3 stares .Their services was very poor,they do not know what is the time's value.(such as breakfast should be at 7;30am they was not ready until 8;30am and we have to request for that time too.)They are charging us for room services which we did not order at all.Any way we straight it out before we check out.But I would not go their any more.

Every where else were go not only good it was excellent .We had problem with a our driver in the first two days every where we go he has to ask a direction.But after you talk to him he was really good and nice .We wish he speak little more English or Hindi.

Overall we(my husband and I) want to go back to Kerala again in future.

One important thing t say that ,If you are giving resorts please traversals know they have their own activities also.Some time they do not need to go out at all.We miss that at Munnar and Thekkady.

Thanks for the e-mail. I apologise for not writing sooner. I only got home last Monday and have been busy sorting out things. I just got back to work this week.

Thank you for everything on our India Tour. We had a very good and interesting time. The children also really enjoyed themselves and my daughter cannot stop talking about you! Thanks for the beautiful flowers and chocolates! It was so sweet of you!

It would have been nice to have more time in India so that we could do things at a more leisurely pace. I think 8-9 days was too short and very hectic with very long, tiring drives. I think if given the option again I would definitely have taken more flights and driven less!

India is rich in culture and history and there is so much to learn. The tours were very informative and the children couldn’t wait to come home and watch the movie Jodha Akbar again.

There were times when we did find it a bit frustrating, when some of the drivers were unable to communicate in English as we had so many questions and requests and were unable to get pass the language barrier. Had this not been an issue I think we would have learnt much more.

On the whole we had a good time and I am sure we will return to explore the southern part of Incredible India.

Once again thank you for your efforts and we will keep in touch. I have some photographs which I will send to you later.

Thank you for making arrangements for our Kerala Trip from 1st Nov. to 8th Nov.

We had an enjoyable holiday. The driver, Mr. Arun, was a very careful one, horning before every acute turn in the road and maintaining a reasonable distance from the vehicles ahead. He spoke good English and we had no difficulty communicating with him. He proved quite resourceful: wearing a Mundu, instead of his uniform, on the day there was a strike declared in Kerala, thus avoiding getting hauled up for carrying tourists around. All of us enjoyed his company.

The scenic beauty of Munnar, what with the three waterfalls in transit to and from it, was particularly soothing to the mind and soul. It was spoiled only by the arrangements at the Hotel we were put up in. For one thing, the bed had not been made, the draw-sheet showed a distinct impression of the sole of someone's dusty shoe; the Dining Hall was on the second floor with no provision of a Lift necessitating a climb of two flights of stairs two or three times a day ; there was a table-tennis table on the ground floor next to our bedrooms and the Reception Desk where other Hotel Guests were playing well past midnight and making a ruckus with every point won or lost. We could not go to sleep because of the disturbance caused by these inconsiderate guests, until one amongst us had to go out and ask them to stop. The Receptionist seemed unable to control this boisterous crowd.To add insult to injury, the next morning when some of us occupied the Breakfast table early, we were asked to move out and wait for another larger group who wanted to leave that day. But we too were leaving that day and that seemed to make not an iota of difference to the Catering Staff. We decided to make way to the other group to avoid any further ill-feelings. But this is something very unusual. " First come first served " should be the order of the day, NOT larger Group obtaining priority over a smaller Group. Both Groups are Paying Guests and neither group was being served Gratis. Despite this unpleasantness we still tipped the Catering staff generously.

In one of your communications I faintly remember your seeking feedback after the trip. Hence I am furnishing this feedback, soon after returning after a month in India.

I had brought this to the notice of the lady who collected the balance of the amount of Rs.97,200 from us and had also mentioned it to you when you called me.

We would urge strongly that future clients of yours should not be made to suffer similar inconvenience, disadvantage, indignity and humiliation.

With this in mind we would urge you not to send any future guests of yours to this Hotel. We are sure there must be many other Hotels in Munnar which will treat their Guests with grace and courtesy.

Vidhi, it is with great pleasure to commend your company on the excellent tour package that was put together by Shruti and all credit to go to her. Every detail was taken care of insofar as the tours etc were concerned and we would not have experienced all the wonderful sights etc that we saw without the good breakdown provided.

It was a fantastic holiday!!

Everything was very well organized: perfect hotels, very punctual chauffeurs, very punctual, friendly and helpful guides. They were well-informed about our program.

We especially loved our guide in Kajuraho, who showed us the old town he lives in. We were even invited in his own house. Our daughters found it the best part of our trip.

We also loved our young guide in Varanasi. By then, we were all sick ( vomiting and diarrhea) , and he took so good care of us.   He was so helpful, did whatever we needed.

It was very busy at the gaths in Varanasi, but he helped us through the crowd. We loved him.

But his car was too small for 4 persons with luggage…

One thing you need to know about hotel Star Rocks: the rooms on the 2 nd floor were much better than the rooms on the 3d floor.

My parents appreciated the well planned tours as well as your friendly nature and warmth they received from you. They would really like to thank you for the well organised trip, also ensuring that everything ran smoothly all details that were arranged by you were done exceptionally well, the hotels you provided for them were also really nice, everything else from the travel arrangements to the cars and train rides were also well organised and they really happy with how everything was planned, they truly want to thank you for all your assistance in making their trip memorable, my mum explains her experience at Jammu as being indescribable and I want to thank you for assisting me in helping them. We are back after 2 exciting weeks in your wonderful country. The second week of January we spent on a course arranged in ooperation with doctors in medical college of Calicut - and we learned a lot.

Here is my evaluation of the tour that we planned together:

1) Paying in advance would be best - I should have thought about that myself. Paying in cash is not practical - and in north of Europe it is becomming unusual.

2) The drivers were both competent. All involved personel were kind,smiling and helpful.

3) All the hotels were excellent and at least same quality as 4 star hotels in DK.

4) Next time I would like to bring a qualified guide - we would like to know more about the areas we travelled in and have some informatin of a lot of things in your country. I would consider leaving out Ooty because of the long bustravel - but in a better bus it migt be ok - or we should go there by the veteran train.

6) Collaborating with you, Deepti, has been a pleasure.

Thanks for all the arrangement during our trip to Kerala from 18 June to 25 June 2011. This is the first time that I booked my package by internet. My wife and I enjoyed our one week stay in Kerala and looking forward for more such trips in future. We had a good driver who is very pleasant, knowledgeable ,skillful in driving and a very helpful person during the one week stay in Kerala. The following are our comments on the whole trip:

A) Day 1 Hotel Estuary Island - We were given a cottage unit for our stay. It was very good . All other services rendered to us were satisfied.

B) Day 2 Boat House -We enjoyed very much and had a very relaxing moments . Boat operators made our stay very comfortable.

C) Day 3 Hotel Lakesong- We were satisfied with the hotel services. The complimentary boat ride offered by the Hotel was not enjoyable because of strong waves and rough ride.

D) Day 4 : THEKKADY WILD CORRIDOR; We were satisfied with the services offered.

E) Day 5 & 6: Tea Country, Munnar: On arrival, there was no welcome drink for us (this is the only hotel that did not offered any welcome drink). The following day, before I left for sight seeing at 1000hrs, I called for room services to do our bed. When we reach at 1600hrs , nothing was done. I called again and was told that they will be coming but till 1700hrs there was no one. I saw the Hotel Manager and told him about my unhappiness and he helped to settle the issue.

F) Day 7: Hotel Estuary Island: The room given to us was not up to our standard compared to all other rooms during our stay in Kerala. This was only setback about hotel unit. All other services were good.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Kerala. We will definitely visit Kerala again. We will keep in touch with your company for our future trips to India. your company people and specially you had help us in all ways .

As you understood we were quite worried in the beginning as it was our first time in India and your habits are quite different from ours. Thus it turned out that you could pre-see things we even did not think about. And we really could enjoy some parts of India with its extremes.

Some impressions:
Taj Mahal was beautiful. We were so happy to see our driver. In the evening, the Ganga arti ceremony was impressive. we had a really skillful driver. As he did not speak English much we even could not thank him enough. Please tell him in your language that we really trusted him and that he made the journey enjoyable. All the hotels you had chosen and booked were different but good. We liked the food (your tandoori breads are irresistible! And so many variants of vegetable foods....) and people. Birahi was really nice with quiet surrounding and friendly people. In Badrinath there were several things to see besides the temple and we walked a lot. Mana village was also different and we walked to Vasudhara waterfall which was really as coming directly from heaven. We were amazed how calm, kind, and helpful you people were And of course your culture! And the differences between regions – it was good that we saw Delhi, some south and north. We discovered Akshardam in Delhi which made on us even greater impression than Taj Mahal. Just that it was new but so well planned, with many details and different places. We spent there whole day but were not able to see everything. The Sunset water fountain performance was impressive. As you see, the experiences are diverse but in the plane we had similar thought – it is the country where we would like to go back – to see different places as well.

Once again – thank you! I we will come back and if you still work in the field, we will contact you. Also – we recommend you to other Estonians.

There are two things for which we want to specially express our gratitude. First of all was that you assigned Raju as our driver. Raju’s oral English is very, very good, so we were able to converse easily. He was so much more than just a driver: he answered our many questions about culture and daily life, assisted us in many ways, and generally acted as our “guardian angel”. I hope you will convey our thanks to him directly, and especially to the transportation company that employs him, because he truly deserves acknowledgement for his excellent service.

Second I would like to thank you, Anil, for suggesting that we visit Bundi – which we would not have known about ourselves. It was in Bundi that we began to really fall in love with India: the Haveli was so charming(the rooms, and the owners both), and the Palace with its lovely murals and fabulous views of the town definitely worth a visit. The fact that the town was not overrun with tourists made it very special: no touts and hucksters. When we took a walk in the morning we were greeted with “Namaste” or “good morning”. A local man helped us to find the famous step well, and refused to take any tip for helping us. We were able to buy miniature paintings from an artist who spoke to us about his work, and then signed his work for us.

Being in Jaipur at the start of “wedding season” was an unexpected pleasure. The processions – with elephants, camels and horses – marching bands and fireworks were amazing. The Pushkar Mela of course was “over the top” in every way! (The crowding on the final day was so intense that it was actually a bit scary.) These are the things that make travel so enriching.

Thank you for a well planned and successful holiday. I really appreciated the flexibility in accomodating our changing needs as well(e.g. the nadi astrology). Just to give you a little feedback on that - it was unbelievable. We're just waiting for them to e-mail us our report, but it is the most accurate thing I've ever encountered.

We enjoyed the actual pilgrimage, visiting the major temples and having the opportunity to perform worship. Perhaps an area of growth would be to include all major temples in our next tour, since we would not have known to visit Neelkant and Chandi Devi temple had we not been advised by the priest performing our prayers.

I regret not meeting you in India, but our schedule was very hectic. Perhaps on the next visit. I found that you are professional, friendly and honest. These are qualities that we depend on when going into an unkown place.

The hotels were great - Star Rocks and Vasundara Palace. Mansingh's in Agra was a little disappointing though. The bathroom was not cleaned when we got there, and the drain was blocked. So it was a gross experience when we showered.

I'm not saying this to be a complaining client. I am a very satisified client with all you have done for us... just that you can use this information with your future clients.

I will certainly be happy to use your services for my next tour and I have already recommended you to many people.

The Hotels
In Old Delhi, the Hotel Aura was nice, but the location was a little sketchy, but for the budget they had a good Breakfast and the staff was accommodating.

Hotel Pearl Palace in Jaipur was good, but we had to order our breakfast which we didn’t mind.

Hotel Crystal Palace in Agra was by far the best hotel and restaurant on our trip.

Our Driver
Majut was kind, honest and a very courteous driver on our trip. He took us to all places that we liked to go and we will definitely tell and recommend him as a driver for any trip to India. He was very knowledgeable of the areas that we went and was very helpful in recommend place to walk in each town. We could not thank him more for making the tour a very pleasurable experience.

Anil, once again thank you for making our trip to India one to remember. We will recommend you to make tours for our friends and family that go to India.

My children stayed additional 2 days - only 1 day was in the same hotel, the next day they were shifted to Mount view inspite of a room being available due to cancellation in Pine View, because when the hotel called the agents they were told that the deposit would not be returned, and hence they had to move. Mount View was not up to the mark - it was similar to the Gulmarg hotel we stayed in, according to my kids- they did not make an issue about it, however,, as it was only for an additional day.

We have happy memories of the tour mainly because our family was together. Unfortunately, because of network problems, we were unable to stay in touch with you, and let you know whenever there was a problem or issue that required attention, as in Gulmarg.

So though we really had a very good time in Kashmir,the service received during our trip, by and large, has not been upto the mark and leaves much to be desired.

Sorry being so late but family and work took all my time as soon as we landed in France.

We really enjoyed our trip in south India :-

Mandipur : very nice stay, many jeep safaris, nice team and accommodation.

Suggestion : some improvement can be done in the ecological field as no systematic change of towels, electric or gas vehicle, … as peoples close to nature care about its preservation.

- Kerala : really lovely, our best souvenir, very nice team !

- Driver : so kind, always very punctual, careful and smiling.

- Hotels (excepted in Mandipur and Kerala) : Nice hotels of course but we’d preferred smaller ones closer to the center of the city. We like walking around in streets and we felt trapped in hotels away from the heart of the city. This is the only point on which we were a little disappointed. But it’s also our fault as we didn’t tell you precisely our wishes.

So, thank you again, one more time !

Delhi - The hotel was excellent. The local sightseeing was fine. We had a nice time shopping here. Food was good at the hotel. However, the first driver, Mr.Balvinder was unable to communicate in English. It was a problem to us.

Agra - The hotel was good. We had a great time at Taj Mahal. But, We missed the sunset view of Taj Mahal due to Mr.Singh, the guide who did not plan the time properly. The guide was very adamant in asking more tips from us. However, we were lucky to have Mr.Raju as our driver for the rest of the tour. He was fluent in English and a pleasant man. We would like to thank you for arranging Mr.Raju as our driver.

Jaipur - The hotel was good and interesting. We had a good time here plus we had a good guide, Mr.Mahendra. Choki danni was a new experience for us.

Pushkar - This place and the hotel was a disaster! We had experienced blackout and water cut at the hotel. Food was horrible. We were the only guests in that hotel. We wasted many hours of precious time travelling to and from pushkar. A place which should not be recommended to anyone.

Overall, we did have a wonderful time. The drivers took us to good restaurants and some good places to shop. Except for pushkar, the rest of the itenerary was good. Thank you for your concern and a well organised tour.

P.S. We have recommended your agency to our friends here. They may contact you in the nearest future.

Travencore Heritage : This was a beautiful Hotel, The accommodation was in bungalows and very comfortable. the staff were very friendly the service great and the food very nice.

Cochin Renaissance : The Hotel in Cochin was nice.The food in the Restaurants was really good.

Allepey Deluxe Houseboat : We enjoyed our stay on the house boat The backwaters were a delight and very beautiful. The two gentleman who looked after us were great and the food they cooked was lovely.

Pereya Wild Corridor : Our hotel here was lovely with a beautiful view from the balcony. the staff were lovely and very friendly. the food was also very nice and the service first class.

Madurai : The hotel we stayed at here was a last minute change. our room was lovely and the food a delight the chef was very attentive as were the staff. this was a lovely venue to finish our holiday . We enjoyed visiting the temples in busy Madurai.and trolling through the market areas. we also enjoyed visiting the Gandhi museum. whilst in South India we had several Ayurvedic massages which we really enjoyed, the best one was at Travancore. We met some lovely south Indian people who were very helpful when we were having problems with directions etc. our driver Money on the trip were great.

The experience was one we will never forget.

Dear Shruti,
Now we are at home again (already since almost 2 weeks!) and I have adapted to daily life again! I just want to write you to thank you for your efforts, it was a great trip!

At the same time I would like to give you some suggestions, comments etc regarding our trip that could be useful for you arranging another trip.

Car and driver:
A very comfortable car. The driver was excellent, drove with care but succeeded nevertheless to keep our timetable. He will become a very good driver/guide, just needs to learn some more about where the different point of interests are and how to get there (which is not very easy because of missing street signs etc). He did a very good job, though, finding his way by asking. His knowledge of English was enough for us to understand each other. With more tours like this, also his English will improve.

Arun was always very polite, helpful, nice, well dressed and did his best to get to the places we wanted to see. He was always on time. I can highly recommend him for further trips.

These were some comments in order to improve your service for your guests.

Dear Puneet,,
The trip was excellent. All the cities we visited will stay in my mind for ever. The tour guides were also very good, although it can be a bit annoying when they insist to take you to their 'friend's shops' after every visit. The hotels were also excellent and the service at the Oberoi hotels is probably the best I have come across ever.

It was nice to see the driver waiting for us on the platform in Agra. I thank you for your help and very good organisation, and I will surely recommend you to anyone travelling to India. If we have the opportunity to return, I will surely contact you again.

We were very pleased with our Tour. Thank you very much, and we are recommending to our friends that they book their trip to India, through you.

We had a couple of criticsms, but nothing major. The hotel in Jailsamer was not good, but it was my choice, not your fault, if I went back there I would choose another hotel. The Taj Lake Palace was fantastic, and we would like to go back there one day for a longer holiday.

The worst thing about the holiday was the train journey. I wish you had told us how slow and dirty these trains are.

But all in all, you did a great job, and we would definately use you again.

Our temple tour has concluded successfully. I am back in Mumbai and will fly to Sydney on 13th October. I would like to place on record our appreciation for the great customer service provided by you and Holiday Masti. We had no problems at any of the places we visited and got excellent and timely Darshan in all the shrines that we visited.

No tour can be successful without a comfortable car and driver. There again we would give 10 out of 10 for the car, its maintenance and Mr.Bala the driver. Please pass this feedback on to him. Once again, thanks for all the organization and great service.

I will certainly recommend your services to my other friends. Particularly, with Mr.Bala as the driver. He drives with great care and skill with lots of patience. When I get back to Sydney, I will post my photos in a Picasa album and send you the link for you to see J

Well, all of us enjoyed almost every aspect of the tour. Madurai n the food n shopping was superb, so was the hotel and transport service. The trip to the temple n Pillayarpatti was great too.
Kolkata was an eye opener, could not do any shopping as the driver was not accommodating n we could not communicate but there was lots to see. Floatel was splendid! Somehow we did not like the food except for once when we stumbled upon a popular restaurant.
Darjeeling was simply awesome, the hotel, food n service.... A little too cold for comfort though!

On the whole no regrets, we had a whale of a time and thanks a million for all the quick responses to my requests. Thanks too to all the arrangements you made.

I'm sorry we didn't get to meet. David and I had a wonderful time in India. The tour you arranged was great! Our hotels were all very nice and the service far exceeded our expectations (we especially enjoyed Udai Bagh, it was so peaceful after spending so much time in the downtowns to be outside in their courtyard area in the mountains). We would like to put in a SPECIAL good word for our driver for the week. We truly believe that he made the trip that much more wonderful - he was SO pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed meeting him and chatting with him, and he gave us very good tips along the way (such as how to avoid the hawkers and "guides" at the Taj Majal). He also made 2 special stops for us along the way at the Bird Sanctuary and Chittorgarh Fort. This was also very nice to get outside in the country for a little bit to change the pace from the city bustle and see the sites. Both of our guides that you set us up with in Jaipur and Udaipur were very nice and knowledgable. And our driver on the last day in Delhi was also a lot of fun and took us to some nice places (including the Lodi Gardens which we hadn't thought about visiting but was also a very great addition!).

We were very comfortable the whole trip. Thank you SO much for a wonderful first impression of India! And again, thanks to our driver for the week - he spent so much time with us and it made such a difference to have someone like him with us for the week. You have a wonderful staff all around and I would recommend your services to any of my friends who travel to India in the future!

Everything went perfectly. Hotels comfortable, good food. Subham was an excellent driver, always waiting for us, always asking if we needed anything. The Taj was beyond my poor powers of description. Subham suggested a specialized guide for the Taj. It was an excellent suggestion and we were thrilled with Sotaj (I think his name is spelled). He really gave us invaluable information and some fun too. He had us take pictures from a bench where it looks like we're holding the finial of the main dome. Hilarious!!!!!! I will recommend your services to anyone who asks about the trip. They could not do better. Thank you so much for all your excellent service!! I will never forget my trip to India. It was better than I hoped and I was hoping for a lot.
